Alexis received her Bachelor of Performing Arts and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma City University. Inspired by her own dance-related injuries, she developed a passion for physical therapy. She later went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is currently an orthopedic resident at Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine Institute where she is actively involved in the hip preservation team.
Alexis’ clinical interests include lower extremity injuries and post-operative conditions. She truly believes movement is medicinal and hopes to inspire patients to improve their quality of life through exercise.
