As a high school freshman trying cross-country for the first time, Daniela Perdomo experienced pain far beyond typical soreness. An accomplished dancer and gymnast, she soon found herself unable to walk, stand, or even sit without discomfort. Despite months of physical therapy, the pain only worsened, leading her to take daily painkillers.
Initially misdiagnosed as growing pains, Daniela’s condition was eventually identified as hip dysplasia. Seeking better answers, her family turned to Dr. Alfred A. Mansour III, a specialist in adolescent sports medicine and hip preservation at UT Physicians. His clear explanations and compassionate approach gave Daniela the confidence to move forward with surgery - a pivotal moment in her journey from constant pain to renewed purpose.

Today celebrating a year of Gabbys surgery. She was the best trooper during the entire process but ofcourse it would not been easy if we did not have the proper support system. A should out to all of our friends and professionals that were by our side helping us to get back on our feet. @dralfredmansourIII for the incredible professional you are.
What an amazing person, knowledgeable professional and kind individual. Always making sure that we were one hundred percent sure of how the procedure and recovery would take place. Giving us the care that is a innate for a good health professional, a true doctor. Making the decision to go through such a hard and long surgery was not easy but we felt that we were in the right hands. You were not only recommended by other patients but also by another fellow hip specialist, Dr Rosenfeld. We can only sing you praises and tell you, thank you! Thank you!
We could have not made a better choice. Today Gabby stands tall pain-free and able to do what she loves the most, to be in the pool, swimming her way through life.

A little over two years ago, I sought out to find a solution to the constant hip pain I was experiencing. Dr. Mansour was kind, patient, and thoughtful with everything from my first appointment to the care he and his practice provided to me post-operatively. I felt confident and supported throughout the entire process and I am forever grateful for his expert care and the relief he provided for me following my hip surgery. I couldn't recommend Dr. Mansour more highly!

My daughter had surgery while in school in Alabama. I was so happy that he could get us in asap as I wanted her to continue her physical thereapy. When I found him and finally got my daughter in, he was really nice, thorough, and made all of us (my daughter, hubby and I) comfortable with his thoughts, concerns of post surgery of other doctor in Alabama, physical therapy, etc. He also made us feel comfortable with his future recommendations. His office staff was also thorough and welcoming.
Dr. Mansour made me feel extremely comfortable during my consult. Took the time to explain everything, answered every question I had and most importantly just was very intelligent and genuine. There is no doubt in mind, after multiple consults, that Dr Mansour is the surgeon of choice for my PAO!
