Dustin Bessire is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with Memorial Hermann Ironman Sports Medicine Institute in The Woodlands, TX. He received a Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University in 2002. He obtained a masters in physical therapy from Angelo State University in 2007. He then completed a transitional doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University – Philadelphia in 2014. Thereafter, he completed an Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship with OPTIM and achieved FAAOMPT credentials. Presently he serves as the Sports Residency Site Coordinator in The Woodlands, as well as faculty with Memorial Hermann's Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Programs. In addition to his clinic responsibilities, Dustin provides training room coverage with Sam Houston State University Athletics and gives guest lectures for both Athletic Training/ Kinesiology departments. Dustin is passionate about implementing strength and conditioning principles in young and adult athletes.
