Simone Mixon completed her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She then went on to graduate with a doctorate in physical therapy at Texas Woman’s university in Houston. She is currently an orthopedic resident in Memorial Hermann’s Orthopedic Residency program and is treating patients at the Memorial City clinic. She is one of three residents involved in the hip preservation team and actively conducts and participates in hip preservation research alongside orthopedic surgeons.
Simone’s clinical interests include the lower extremity and spine, as well as treating athletes looking to return to sport.
