Alexis is a residency-trained orthopedic physical therapist with Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2015 and then received her doctorate of physical therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago in 2018. Alexis completed her orthopedic residency with Memorial Hermann and is now working at the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute in the Texas Medical Center. She is the orthopedic site coordinator at her clinic where she helps teach and mentor the orthopedic resident. She specializes in treating the spine and hip and enjoys helping individuals reach their optimal recovery following surgery and non-operative care. Alexis teaches within Memorial Hermann’s orthopedic and sport residency programs. She enjoys strength training and remaining active in her free time. Follow her on Instagram @alexis.shoope.
