Kate Reinecke, PT, DPT
Certified Dry Needling
Kate is a board-certified in orthopedic physical therapist and is certified in Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Kate received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in 2006 and her master’s degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Western Kentucky University in 2008. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 and joined the Memorial Hermann physical therapy team soon thereafter.
Her clinical specialty includes operative and non-operative management of orthopedic and sports related hip, knee, and ankle/foot conditions. Kate has a special interest in post-operative care of a variety of hip surgeries and helping her patients return to their sports or recreational activities. She also serves as the site coordinator of clinical education (SCCE) at her facility while mentoring both PT students and residents.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons, working out, traveling, and hiking with her family.
