Talal is the Director of Memorial Hermann’s IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute at the Memorial City Campus. He is dual board certified in Sports and Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is certified in Dry Needling from the Spinal Manipulation Institute. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Talal treats patients of all levels and specializes in working with active individuals to achieve their goals. He enjoys educating patients on preventative injury strategies and screening, as well as mentoring and clinical teaching. Talal works closely with Dr. Alfred Mansour to educate physical therapists in the Houston area on how to correctly manage difficult hip cases.
Currently, Talal serves as the hip module instructor for Memorial Hermann’s Residency programs. He lectures on post-operative management after hip arthroscopy and mentors other therapists on treatment of the hip. During his career, Talal has also taught at Rice University and has contributed research and content to publications in his field.
